    Hi

I added facebook.com in "domain list" for lock the website in Proxy filter squidguard. The webpage www.facebook.com is locked properly. However when I get a notification of a facebook message on my email and I click on the link to read the message (www.facebook.com/messages/ ********) I can read it without problem. Do you have any solutions to this problem.

    Thank you for your help

    Kind regards
    ??? ???

        Hi,

it depends on if you are filtering only http or http+https on squid. If squid ist just filtering http squidguard can only block http. So if you browse to an URL which is not http but https squidguard cannot block it.

So for this topic you should search the forum for "squid" and "transparent" and "non-transparent". There is a thread talking about squid 3.3.4 or squid 3.3.5 which is the most recent version which should help you to find the right way.
