2.1-RC2 update fails corrupt image file

I'm getting the message "The image file is corrupt." "Update cannot continue" when trying to download the latest RC2 release from the 2.1-RC2 (amd64)
built on Wed Sep 4 23:56:28 EDT 2013 release.FWIW.

They are getting 2.1-RELEASE ready. Snapshots are offline for a little while, read: http://forum.pfsense.org/index.php/topic,66372.0.html
You can still manually download and then install recent 2.1-RC2 snapshots if you really want to update to a later 2.1-RC2 for whatever reason: http://snapshots.pfsense.org/ -

See the reply from phil.davis above. Update checks will fail right now because the snapshot updates are offline (on purpose) as we generate the 2.1 release images.

I was thinking of d/l RC2 to test out, so we're going to get the 2.1 RELEASE later today/tomorrow?….
Also, noticed all the bugs has been closed in the bugtracker.. Can't wait to upgrade my very old Alix2d3 board, on its last leg probably.... :D

There will be an official announcement.
The entire 2.1 board here would usually be retired and locked once the release happens.
