    Hello,

I wanted to try my hand at changing the WebGui a little bit and wondered how I could mount the embedded version as writeable, do my changes, and then make it read only as before.
I am using embedded version 1.0.1.

Thanks for any help you can give,

      from the shell (option 8):

      /etc/rc.conf_mount_rw

      …make changes...

      /etc/rc.conf_mount_ro

Thanks for the post, but what ended up working for me was:

        mount /dev/ufs/pfSense /

This allowed me to write. I then tried to unmount with the same command but got no where. However after some time (30 minutes?) the file system put itself back to read only.

        Ciao,

        P.
