I have pfSense connected to an ADSL router that supplies the real-world IP address via DHCP.

Recently my ISP started changing our IP address on a regular basis. Each time this address changes, pfSense picks up the change, but my SIP phone and VPN stop functioning.
The VPN is on a VMWare, although I hope to use OpenVPN on pfSense once it has more features. Both of these 'devices' have ports mapped from the external interface to hosts on the network (UDP).

Rebooting pfSense gets both devices working again.

Does anyone know of a solution to this problem?

I am considering switching back to a plain FreeBSD install, since that would allow me to use OpenVPN in the way I need to, but I'm not sure if I'll also run in to the same problem doing that.

      Thanks.

I have added this, but unfortunately it doesn't appear to make any difference. A reboot of pfSense is still required to restore functionality of the VPN.
