@microserfs and what IP was that - clearly your current IPv6 address is not block that I show you connected with.. And the only other IPv4 I see you using is not blocked.. You would have to let me know what IP you were coming from that was blocked.. Send it to me via PM if you don't want to make it public.

    @sef1414
Name it "run.sh", copy to pf and chmod according documentation
    https://docs.netgate.com/pfsense/en/latest/development/boot-commands.html#shell-script-option
You will see messages in the system log like those quoted in the script after logger command.

Go to http://support.toshiba.com/ and click download.  Put in your model and look for drivers for Windows Vista or 7 (Vista drivers generally work with 7).

You'd have to copy them off a FreeBSD machine (or ISO, perhaps) that uses the same FreeBSD version that your version of pfSense has.

I don't think there is a binary package for them anywhere, as they are part of the FreeBSD base system.

Since the LBAs are different and don't repeat, it's more likely either a DMA bug, a controller issue, or a flaky SATA cable.

Can't rule out a flaky drive, but you can always pkg_add -r smartmontools and then run smartctl -a /dev/ad6

It can also run drive tests, it should print out a list of options if you just run 'smartctl'.

Download via the GUI under: "backup/restore" the config.xml.
Everything is stored in this file.
You can manually add your own mappings to this file and restore it.
If you cannot find the right place in the file or dont know how to format it, add a dummy entry first and look for this.

if you're pxebooting then you have to be pulling your OS from somewhere. So let's say you set up your thin client as a thin client and pxeboot it. Where is all them bytes you just moved off your hard drive?

I just released the first release candidate…I also added native WMI checking(no wmi repeater/server like most others), so you can check the status of specific services on windows machines, along with available memory and hard disk space.

Even though this is the first version, it is very stable, I have been using it at several different sites for over 4 months now with no problems.  Give it a try(even just use it as a live cd or in vmware player) and let me know what you think.

Thanks Jim.  I have not had a need to use IRC before, so this was a learning process.  Two things that got me:

My VPN connection to the office blocks IRC ports I did not know the username/password for IRC was just "made up" information.  I thought I had to register it somewhere…

Another question regarding this, disabling firewalling, can I still use it as HA load balancer (only doing routing)?

Hi again, thank you for your quick responses, I ran "tcdump -i rl1" to monitor my wan line and it turns out that Zaafiriel was right.  The constant traffic mostly arp request from my isp charter.  It seems like there routers or something constantly ask everyone if there using this or that ip.  I attached some of the output of the command.
Is this normal from an isp, its seems like a waste of bandwidth, granted its only using about 5kbps, but still…

    Thanks again,
    matt

    setup is PKI.
    openvpn[1211]: /sbin/ifconfig tun0 192.168.10.2 192.168.10.1 mtu 1500 netmask 255.255.255.255 up

    That is not consistant.
If you have a PKI you wouldn't see that.
It should look something like that:

    /sbin/ifconfig tun0 10.0.55.6 pointopoint 10.0.55.5 mtu 1500
