@tbaker9595 I'd be a bit skeptical you'd get that much throughput on pfSense...check the XG-1541 vs the same device list with TNSR here, particularly the "TNSR vs pfSense Software" button/tab.

@gertjan My iPhone is using DHCP. I have set DHCP reservations on the pfSense side. I push DNS server through DHCP to the clients and have setup a NAT rule to redirect all DNS traffic which does not go to the Pihole to redirect to the Pihole. What I meant with the above post that I changed DNS (and removed the NAT redirect rule) as a test. To filter out where the problem relies.

Here is the thing - does your rule show other than 0/0 now.. If not its not being evaluated. Sniff that interface on pfsense while your trying to ssh to that pfsense IP.. If you don't see anything then wherever your trying to connect from is not getting to pfsense interface

I like the ease of being able to see what queried what that the pihole interface allows for. I can see what devices are asking for what "a lot" for example very easy with pihole.. What has my tv being queries for example - clicky clicky there you go running log of what that specific client queried. Was it blocked, allowed, etc.

@johnpoz I got it working!!! I was going to swap the Switch, but I realized that at no point had I depowered the current switch. I decided to do that and go a bit further. I depowered all the equipment and unplugged it. Deleted the network and all associated entries. Followed by a reboot and verified it was entirely gone. Then I just set it up as a new network (new name and ip address). And Voila, it works. Thanks again for your suggestions. Much appreciated.

@gertjan I removed the blocker and I'm still getting the error and it's mostly for the other people in the house and it seems to be on only some devices that the web page doesn't load. But my wifi on my phone keeps getting disconnected as well and not reconnecting and it's only to my home wifi it does this now

Netgate includes a free service they host. We've actually not set that up as we've gotten in the habit of backing up any router we make changes on, so it's usually at our office and/or the client's office. They have another page with alternatives.
