    Man pages are not included.  If you wish to have this you need to install and use the developer edition.

    We do not use the rc.d init system so this is not possible.  You'll need to start it by hand from a /usr/local/etc/rc.d/ script.

    @r0n:

    Hi,
    So, great, i hope it will be implemented soon :) i am ready to test it !
    Is there a time line or are you waiting another bounty, or code helper(time helper?).

    Mainly time.  My list of projects I want to work on is a mile long.  This is definitely on it, but I'm working on rewriting the parser for the load balancing daemon we use (slb) as the current one kinda sucks.  I don't have a firm date for this feature - at this time it's more of a, when I've got some of my other interesting stuff done, I'll circle back around to the load balancer as there's a few features I want to add (tcp/http layer 7 monitoring, better load balance methods, and one or two other things that might be nice)  Sometimes users helping set direction with bounties or contracts such as the one that got slb in pfSense in the first place can be a good thing.

    and/or use the developers edition found at the mirrors. It's able to sync against our cvs-web and can build pfSense from scratch.

    Argh ::) Mea culpa ::) Looked at the wrong tab and concentrated on "Outbound" rather than looking at "Port Forward" and thinking about it "the other way" :)

    Thanks again for pointing out and best wishes - you're all doing a hell of a good job here :D

    Thats what I thought (and why I mentioned my little Zoe 45er), but thanks to clarify, Holger :)
    Because of that fact I expressed my hopes for a new embedded REL_1 image blink twinkle

    Try outbound NAT manually - only for 192.168.2.0/24
    PPPoE is not encrypted  tunneling -  encrypted is PPTP..

    dd on any unix box (or cygwin).  I usually dd an image for archive and then use physdiskwrite later for writing CF cards.

    Alright I'll raise the states…  ;D

    The Load Balancer is working now I've done the Monitor IP address things, and so far the net hasn't gone down. Thankfully.

    I love the new RRD graphs in Beta3  ;)

    I still get these messages though.

    slbd[11921]: Service changed status, reloading filter policy

    And I got (some time in the early hours of the morning)

    Apr 26 04:47:26 php: : There were error(s) loading the rules: - The line in question reads []:
    Apr 26 04:47:26 kernel: pool_ticket: 993769 != 993770

    So I'm still not sure what's going wrong, but hey, the internet seems to be working!!

    It does.  This isn't FreeBSD, it's pfSense.

    @VaCUm:

    I'm running pfSense at home on a old Pentium II and i use a CF-card instead of a hard drive. I have changed /etc/platform to wrap and disabled logging to minimize disk activity.

    You want 'embedded' not wrap btw.

    How does openntpd perform in a high IRQ (interrupt) environment?  A number of my machines on OpenBSD run 15K + interrupts/second - with that load, ISC's ntp daemon sucks ass.
