    1.  I don't see any 172.16.16.0/24 hosts on your diagram.  Where are they connected? 2. When you say the following: Created Defualt gateway in pf sense and configured static route 172.16.16.0/24  192.268.1.254 Just to clarify, what device did you create your static route on?

Move elsewhere if producing some WDS/wifi repeater is your goal. This is NOT the project you want. At all.

Use packet capture and wireshark, inspect SIP packets, you should find answer there.

Thought I would update this post with a resolution. The installation found a RAID controller (or software RAID through the BIOS) and assumed that I was using RAID even through there was only 1 HDD and BIOS was set to SATA. The solution was in the pfSense installation troubleshooting guide at the very bottom of that screen;  going to a prompt, running a command telling it ‘No RAID’ and then booting (VERY condensed).  Was very simple and allowed me to continue using 5 servers. Thanks again to everyone that posted! https://doc.pfsense.org/index.php/Boot_Troubleshooting#.22Fake.22_RAID_cards_with_a_GRAID_error

The only trick her is if you're going to slowly migrate services over from Endian to pfSense, or if you're going to try and configure everything and then just flip the switch.  I moved to pfSense from MS ISA Server 2 years ago.  I set up the pfSense box to run in tandem with the ISA server and started migrating everything over bit by bit.  After a week of migrating & testing, I shut down the ISA server, changed the pfSense LAN/WAN IPs to that of the ISA Server and then just carried on.  My users were none the wiser.

i had the same problem  https://forum.pfsense.org/index.php?topic=85869.0 here is the Solution http://makandracards.com/makandra/1258-install-the-verdana-and-tahoma-fonts-under-ubuntu-linux Arial, Verdana, Tahoma, and similar “basic” Microsoft fonts are not included in a vanilla Ubuntu installation. You should have these fonts because many designers consider them to be universally available: Arial, Verdana, etc: sudo apt-get install ttf-mscorefonts-installer Tahoma: wget http://download.microsoft.com/download/ie6sp1/finrel/6_sp1/W98NT42KMeXP/EN-US/IELPKTH.CAB cabextract -F 'tahoma*ttf' IELPKTH.CAB mv -f tahoma*ttf /usr/share/fonts/truetype/msttcorefonts/ chmod 644 /usr/share/fonts/truetype/msttcorefonts/tahoma* fc-cache -v rm -f IELPKTH.CAB

Your last question is a bit specious.. you ask "friend or colleague" but only allow one context for the answer ;D in my case: friend = 0 colleague = 10 I have friends whose VCRs in the 80s never had the right time I have colleagues who could really (and a few do) use pfSense

@doktornotor: No, your problem is that WAN overlaps with LAN. Thanks. Any idea how I fix it? :)

The original page is not working for me, I want a specific NAT rule only active if the internet connection (gateway) is down, otherwise the NAT rule must remain off.

What you did is very sensible.  Although, you have denied me the entertainment I normally get watching people jump through crazy hoops for weeks trying to save a couple of bucks.  :(

To just get it working, create the rule on the LAN interface on your eth0 (OPT1??) interface but adjust the source network to the interface network. If you want to prevent captive portal users from accessing LAN assets you will have to create a reject rule on OPT1 that blocks to destination LAN net. Same for anything else you don't want them to be able to access.

@KOM: squidclient -h pfSense_LAN_IP_address -p 3128 mgr:delay Thank you! Anybody ever heard of web-interfaced visual tools for that purpose, such as ntopng?

@stephenw10: I suspect Bluetooth would be particularly badly suited for use in a time source situation. Pretty sure PPS would not pass, though I've never tried it. I probably would though if it did since I have Bluetooth GPS receivers gathering dust!  ;) Steve We'll what are you waiting for.  Get to it and let me know.  This is not a wheel I'm particularly suited to create.  ;)
