Do not under any circumstances use this software in production.  If you do so, you will absolutely hose your network, cause major downtime, and hopefully be terminated for gross negligence.  Only use release or release-candidate software that has been properly tested in production.

When I autoupdate to new snapshot (New version:    Wed Jul  9 20:31:41 EDT 2008)
says image is corrupted and will not update.

I know that but I wanted to test and see how well the upgrade path was it is no big deal just to pop 1.2 back on off a cd then restor config.

As of in the case there was a problem with my installation in spacific with upgrading and carrying the data over.

Note since the base OS on 1.3 is the same as 1.2.1, you can also use these on 1.2.1. I typically don't advocate USB NICs, but good to hear these are working.

You want the .img.gz files, they are in the snapshots folders.

I don't think the GUI was back ported from HEAD, lagg should be there.

The login doesn't work with any version of IE as far as we know. We haven't had time to figure out why - if someone can do that and let us know we can get it fixed quickly. It would be appreciated. Otherwise it'll be fixed as time permits, it works fine in Firefox 2 and 3.

It's a Symantec Internet Gateway appliance box without graphics, so i'll try to hook up the console and see what happens.

The default admin:pfsense does not work, i've tried that.
