@lmannyr RAID would be done in a BIOS configuration for a RAID controller, There is GEOM for UFS but you can do ZFS mirroring -- all of these things require reinstallation of pfSense. Does it not respond at all? Does the number lock LED on the keyboard still work? Does it respond to ctl+t? Does it install if you remove/disble the Broadcom NIC? Steve

@jimp A support incident was opened with TAC after my original post. They provided a link and instructions to reinstall firmware on the 3100. It is working again. Thank you for your input.

When that happens, there is no need to do anything, as it would impact us all. Among the 100 000+ pfSEnse users, there will be always one who grabs the phone and call jimp, stephenw10 or who ever work at Netgate, and it will get fixed moments later. Most often, like 99 %, it's a local fckd up DNS. Call your admin ;) 0,9 % : your ISP is definitely not expensive enough. 0,09 % : the peering to Netgate went dark (peering == the connection from your ISP to the Netgate server farm) 0,001 : That will be the Netgate servers ....like this (15/08) time. You should already have access to the upgrade branch. Just select it from the update settings and you should be able to upgrade to Plus. Steve

yup from CE to plus and I also did a reinstall recently. After about 8 hours it allowed me to upgrade. likely what happened is as you described.

It does what it can on the most recent version(s) but IIRC there are a couple edge cases that the upstream library itself doesn't handle well that our outside of our control (or pkg). We try to find and replicate/fix them as we can.
