    This was caused by some debugging code in the file that has now been removed and pushed. Thanks to Phil Davis.

    Unless adding the filter form to the system logs the regex that was there was fine as it only had to handle the firewall log.

    I think it would be nice to have the filter form for the system logs too though.

    Oh, that is not easy. I check that already.

    Thank you

    Mea culpa  :(

    Having converted to a new pie-chart graphics library it seemed like a good idea to remove the old one. - Except that simplepie was actually the RSS reader library and nothing to do with pie charts at all. Who would have thought?

    I have restored the deleted files (etc/inc/simplepie/simplepie.inc and etc/inc/simplepie.LICENCE.txt) and re-tested the interface.

    Sorry.

    The darned caching headers, obviously… so that when a CSS or piece of JS changes, people can actually see the changes. I'd have thought that the "Gold" menu fiasco was enough to get this done; apparently not.

    @Fesoj:

    Ok, so pkg will install the binaries as well as the GUI and additional files? For the time being I could install with pkg install , but the pfSense GUI would do pretty much the same.

    At the weekend, I'll have a look at the current alpha snapshot and study some small packages.

    On 2.3 pkg install handles everything, binaries and GUI components. It works identically to installing the package via the GUI now, which makes development that much easier.

    PRs tested and merged. I made a small change after merging to support moving the action icon to the left of the dynamic page. Everything seems to work very nicely now.

    Thanks again for the help.

    It was always that way  :)

    I usually approach wizard issues with a sense of foreboding, but this fix turned out to be just an XML change.

    Wizard now uses input type "password" and provides a "Show password" checkbox for both PPPoE and PPTP.

    Thanks for the suggestion.
