Good idea. I'll add it to the list.

    Thanks all.

I don't think I had resized the browser window from when I first connected and used the main menu but I'll have another look at that later.

I must be getting old.  I'd never heard of a "Burger menu" before - at least not in relation to GUIs.  :)

    Hello,

I had the exact same problem. Also on Hyper-V. Could ping and traceroute just fine but no TCP. Spend a couple of long nights but did not figure out what was wrong, so gave up on it for now :(

    Regards
    Jacob

Thanks for the report. I'll check into it.

Edit the file /cf/conf/config.xml and look for the tag "<widgets><sequence>"  It will look something like this:

    <widgets><sequence>system_information:col1:open,interfaces:col2:open,gateways:col2:open,ipsec:col2:open</sequence></widgets>

Just remove your widget from the list. e.g.: If you no longer want the gateways widget to show, remove " gateways:col2:open, "

You can probably guess the meaning of col1/col2 and open/close :)</sequence></widgets>

So exciting! Redmine is going to look so empty. I hope to focus can go to 3.0 once 2.3 is stable.

Haven't seen that. Probably browser cache issue, it's not actually loading the login page when it doesn't work.

the issue with upgrading was due to the other slice being 2.2.5 so that i managed to get over it, just needed to upgrade from console once which cloned the other slice also to 2.3 and that field thing with 0 i guess u just need to clear it and hit apply which worked, thanks phil

    ?

To stop the confusion I have attached the entire NAT section of the 2.2.5 config that I backed up (I also have a status_output.tgz file from the 2.2.5 box if you want me to share that with you). Hopefully this will shed some more light on this issue since the order of the NAT section is:

    1. Outbound NAT
    2. 1:1 NAT
    3. Port Forward
    4. NPt

These are the steps I took originally but have not been able to reproduce this issue since then.

    1. Backup the configuration on a 2.2.5 machine, with RRD data, without packages
    2. Shutdown the machine
    3. Install 2.3-ALPHA image on a new machine
    4. Assign a temp IP to LAN interface
    5. Skip the Wizard
    6. Restore the configuration, with all areas selected (default)
    7. I was prompted to fix the interface assignments, since the 2.2.5 box was not the same as the 2.3 box. So I fixed the assignments, PPPoE and VLAN settings.
    8. Checked the NAT section, all the tabs are empty, even after a reboot.

    Thanks,

    Robbert

Yes, by using get instead of post.

Unfortunately there is this idea/plan to convert most gets by post because its suposed to be more secure.

Horizontal.  But the spacing looks about the same there so I guess really I'm referring to both.

But it only needs extra space when expanded by a touch, not when expanded by mouse click.  Like form drop down boxes do.  But not quite as much space a the drop down boxes do.  Maybe like a little less than double spacing.  Maybe 1.5 to 1.75 spacing.
