@stephenw10
done!
thanks whatsapp/telegram voice and video calls are working, i hope in a near future pfsense vertions fix it bug natively. thanks again
-
Yes, it will be fixed in the next update.

-
@stephenw10 thank you very much it is fix
-
After i do insert ip address in allow capture portal, i have success in calling whatsapp.
-
With these networks white listed, the captive portal clients do not need to login to the portal before they use app like Whatsapp-"phone".
Is that what you want ? -
If the provided patch is applied to 2.6.0., WhatsApp is working also without adding those networks in the section "Allowed IP addresses". For example, if you want to use the Captive Portal function.

@refugeesonline said in WhatsApp calls do not connect after upgrade 2.5.2 -> 2.6.0:
If the provided patch is applied to 2.6.0.,
Exact. without the patch, UDP and ICMP traffic was 'stuck'.
Adding networks to Services > Captive Portal > ZONE > Allowed IP Addresses wouldn't help you to solve that issue.
So, applying the patch is needed to give the captive portal network access to the Internet.
Adding networks to Services > Captive Portal > ZONE > Allowed IP Addresses will bypass the captive portal authentication for these networks/IPs.

@Diego-de-Santis
Again : is this what you want ?
And, for my own curiosity : why ? -
@luisenrique Thank you, after installing the patch the issue has been resolved. Hopefully, it will be fixed in the next update.

Thanks for your guide. I followed your steps, by installing the recommended system patch and also applying the custom patch.
Whatsapp calls now works fine on my Pfsense 2.6.0
