Help trying to get a new repo on my 2.4.4 p1
-
Hello, everyone.
I recently made a post here and at pfSense Reddit about my pfSense (2.4.4 p1) showing some errors while trying to get packages via package manager or trying to update pkg via ssh... Basically, there's no package repo.
Trying to troubleshoot this problem, I created a brand new VM with the same ISO I used for my server and it worked perfectly fine. The repos and everything else was there.
The purpose of this topic is to find a way to remake these repos (pfsense and a unofficial one).
Is it possible? If it is, can someone here help me?
Thanks.

@araujovitorpaulo I can tell you that pfSense 2.4.4 p1 is dead...upgrade instead of trying to hanging on to software that is no longer useful. You can easily restore your configuration from a backup you make before the upgrade process.

@NollipfSense that was an alternative at the beginning, but when I search for updates, it says that the server is up to date (http://prntscr.com/rrnrc0).
The only way to recover it is making a brand new server with the 2.4.4p3 installation?

2.4.5 is the new current version. Unless you have an existing copy of the 2.4.4_p3 install media, it is no longer available from official sources. You may find unofficial copies out there someplace on the web, but I would be wary of such things.
You can do a frresh install using 2.4.5 media and import your existing configuration. There are instructions for doing that in the Netgate docs.
