I and one other in my team have been working on getting BGP in FRR to work in our new data center for a bit. We know when to quit and we are willing to seek knowledge from someone wiser than us. Any takers?
@stephenw10 I now have two nanoHD's doing nothing. I noticed that there is an OpenWRT package for those. Looks very recent and maybe beta. Not sure, didn't spend a lot of time digging. Anyone have any knowledge about the nanoHD and OpenWRT? With the Unifi FW the performance was terrible under load, so maybe not even worth the effort?
the instruction to install influx are here
github contain also screenshot of what you need to set on pfsense, inside the "images" folder.
what are you unable to do specifically?
@gertjan Agreed. However, an email outage is not as tragic as it once would have been. I, and I suspect many others, don't see email as critical communications. It's the use of an email address as identity that is troubling. I regularly go days or weeks without sending an email. I do use email addresses multiple times everyday to logon to various services. 2FA is a band-aid at best, security theater most of the time.
I'll answer your question about nohz
it does not work on raspberry pi 4 + raspbian
the kernel isn't configured to allows the nohz parameter to work
also, I found that you can only use
flag 3 0 (use the ntpd clock discipline)
flag 3 1 (use the kernel discipline)
if you try to use flag 3 1 you see in the syslog this:
refclock_params: time_pps_kcbind: Operation not supported
this is because the kernel is compiled without CONFIG_NTP_PPS
