    Hi
    I have had the same problem today and several rounds of loading different images before I got online again.

    Suggestion: in the update process, why not give us a list of the 10 last images, that way you do not have to update to the last one (if that has errors, like today) and you also do not have to wait to the next build …..

    I know you can download the images manually, but I think this will be a nice "extra service" for those who update frequently.

    You mean, "Boot pfSense using USB device" ?  Come on, only a real ninny would miss that.  Thanks… (that worked)

    There are other threads for that, it's not related to this problem.

    I checked in a fix for this, it works now. Either wait for a new snap, gitsync, or merge in the change to your openvpn.inc file manually. It's a simple fix.

    Not the answer I hoped for, but thanks anyway. I'll do my very best hacking the config… :D

    We have quite a few commercial support subscribers using 2.0 in production for installs where this makes more sense: They need a specific feature, hardware support, etc, that is not there in 1.2.x.

    If that is the case for you, it may be fine to start with 2.0. If you only need what is currently in 1.2.x, it's fine to start there. You can upgrade to 2.0 later with a simple firmware update.

    2.0 is almost to RC stage, just a few more hurdles to get over.

    @ermal:

    You either have to fix manually or upgrade after the fix mentioned http://redmine.pfsense.org/issues/1037 is in snapshots.

    Ahh, thank you for pointing that out.

    one of the threads and one specific post made me shift to CBQ, not that HSFC is poor but its just too good and doesn't do something as admins want it to do in some smaller environment, like a home or a SOHO network.

    Both of those work fine for me. If you add a space before or after the values it'll kick back that they're invalid, don't do that.

    Thanks to everyone for your help. I have switched the scheduled rules to pass rules instead of blocking rules, and everything works as expected now.

    That's a valid config in some circumstances, some people use that so they get the same IP when switching between wired and wireless on the same machine.
