@microserfs and what IP was that - clearly your current IPv6 address is not block that I show you connected with.. And the only other IPv4 I see you using is not blocked.. You would have to let me know what IP you were coming from that was blocked.. Send it to me via PM if you don't want to make it public.

Name it "run.sh", copy to pf and chmod according documentation
    https://docs.netgate.com/pfsense/en/latest/development/boot-commands.html#shell-script-option
You will see messages in the system log like those quoted in the script after logger command.

@rico said in Will Supermicro 5019A-FTN4 work with PfSense:

You can't just take any Supermicro box with pfSense CE image and compare it to the XG-7100 saying it is the same platform as this image (pfSense-netgate-memstick-XG-7100-2.4.4-RELEASE-p2-amd64.img.gz) is highly adjusted to this architecture AFAIK.

I didn't write that anywhere. I was pointing out, that Netgate itself uses the SOC without problems and has been before it was introduced officially with 2.4.4 and the step up of the FreeBSD base. So as Steve wrote it should simply work now. I wasn't telling anyone to use a netgate / ADI image on other hardware, that would be stupid.

Besides that, if one uses almost identical hardware to the 5100 or 7100 there shouldn't be much surprises in hardware. That's all :)

1 lane of PCIe 2.0 is good for 4Gbps so multiport cards should be no issue.

Other than that I have particular insight into that board.

If they are on the same subnet, the traffic would never hit pfSense. If it doesn't work, check in your AP for a setting like "client isolation" and disable it.

If they are on different subnets and both of those subnets route through pfSense, such as a VLAN, then you'd just need to allow the traffic in your firewall rules.

@salman4th said in All website block except Gmail.com:

Please guide me thoroughly because i'm in at entry level.

Such a configuration is a bit beyond entry level to be honest.. You do understand that gmail is hosted off a CDN so their would be a large amount both IPv4 and IPv6 address that gmail could be access via.

Also g-suite will also use different fqdn and other ranges of IPs, etc.

To really do such a setup would mean setting up of a proxy.. And since all of those sites will also be https - this makes it even a bit more complex.

How is it someone at an entry level was tasked with doing such a project.

Example, here is what they list

Tough to say. I'd use 2x SG-5100s if it was me.

No idea what's out there in the used market.

I should add, I can not ping the lan from the webserver machine. I just don't know if there is something I am leaving vulnerable that I do not understand.

Didn't know the problem was with w7

Not a w7 problem. Every OS on the planet asked for the same info
Without a DNS things go bad.
