@microserfs and what IP was that - clearly your current IPv6 address is not block that I show you connected with.. And the only other IPv4 I see you using is not blocked.. You would have to let me know what IP you were coming from that was blocked.. Send it to me via PM if you don't want to make it public.

Name it "run.sh", copy to pf and chmod according documentation
    https://docs.netgate.com/pfsense/en/latest/development/boot-commands.html#shell-script-option
You will see messages in the system log like those quoted in the script after logger command.

Thanks Steve, I'll have a look and see what does Zyxel have and I'll stick with openreach until I'll have to replace it.

    Thanks!

This forum is the for the support of pfsense. This gaming section for gaming issues/questions with pfsense as your router..

You would prob get much better response on your generic computer forum..

    Moved to Off-Topic section.

Will prob be deleting as soon as they spam, which is what this is.. Pretty much guarantee

Sorry, I didn't mean to offend you. I was just trying to help you understand that what's required for this to work is so improbable as to be essentially impossible. The author of that article apparently doesn't know enough about Ethernet & IP to understand that.

@pi I think I’ve been dealing with something similar. You could theoretically load pfBlocker up with so many lists that it introduces additional load to your CPU that in turn adds latency to your system affecting video conferences and VOIP. What packages are you running?

@stephenw10 said in * SOLVED* CBRAS setup question:

Go to Firewall > VirtualIPs. Add a new VIP with type IPAlias on the WAN. Set the static IP and give it a description.

Now go to Diag > Ping and try to ping something external using the new VIP as the source IP. If it succeeds you're good.

    Steve

    No dice

    PING google.com (142.250.68.14) from 71.33.XXX.73: 56 data bytes --- google.com ping statistics --- 3 packets transmitted, 0 packets received, 100.0% packet loss

    Hello:

Great idea. Being that you created your own mounting bracket, any chance you can give back to the pfSense community with the STL file(s)?

    Have a great day.
