@submicron: You should not be editing files manually in the first place.  They will be overwritten.  There are tutorials on how to add cron jobs to the config.xml file.  Grab a copy, put in your cron jobs and restore the config. But my card is 4gb i wanna save some stuff on it, not related to th O.S, is that possible?

The Speedboost he's referring to is a feature in DD-WRT.  However, there's no way it'll increase his internet connection speed.  It's the equivalent of Turbo-G/ Speedboost/ Superspeed/ G-Plus found in Wireless-G routers to exceed the normal 54Mbps on Wireless-G connections.

Given that the options on the page when you setup the captive portal are a) No authentication b) local user manager and c) RADIUS authentication I would answer yes. Loading it up on a test machine and playing with it may help determine if it is going to suit your needs.

must go to ver 2, 1.2 releases  do not support multi-wan directly/natively. whats the latency for you vpn connections? (ping the ip) if you have to go in and manually connect it tells me that it is timing out (taking too long/longer than it should so it gives up and will try again later-not sure when later is though) hence you have to do it manually.
