From what I recall , these issues were solved with patches pfSense package ages ago :

The bad news : you have to dig them up, here, in this forum or redmine.
The good news : 2.7.0 - coming out soon - will take care of things.

I was using 2.6.0 quiet long time, and issues (important to me) were solved after some forum interaction.

@jarrodsfarrell Did fix the DNS IPv4+6. Post filter is getting tripped so I can't edit my post.

My confusion was with 'blocking' - I thought it was a too way street. Now I understand it only prevents the source from Initiating a connection, but not replying to a request.

@90ninety If your looking to block adult domain names, you can also add one of the Chad Mayfield lists. They're under Firewall > pfBlockerNG > Feeds > Firebog_Other (all the way at the bottom of the feeds list). There are two you can choose from.

I have the same problem but also my google home is blocking, i have added some IP adresses of google but not helped me.

Anyone a suggestion about that? I think i am not the anyone that this problem have with Google services.
