When they changed from old forum software SMF to the New NodeBB setup seems like some images did not translate well... They are still there from my understanding just not displaying.. When this first happened there was discussion on working to fix that... But not sure if that is still the case? I know it sucks - but with growth sometime comes pain.. And some of the older posts might be harder to follow with loss of images... But this happens all the time when users use outside links to images and those images get taken down or the hosting location goes away, etc.. [image: 1541759474386-postingimageviewing-resized.png] If you can not see for example this picture I am attaching of this posting - then you have something else wrong.. ![0_1541759474204_postingimageviewing.png](/assets/uploads/files/1541759474386-postingimageviewing-resized.png) Can you see that image or are you just seeing the text like above.. In this post you should see the image and the text pointing to the image I quoted.

Actually, I was just trying to delete the "[SOLVED]". Managed to change it this morning. Maybe there is a limit to how many posts per topic per hour or some such?

I've warmed up to the new forum, but these visual glitches should have been taken care of within the first month of rollout.

What exactly would you want this rss link to show you? The lastest posts in each sub section? Not going to be very useful since those will change all the time and then be gone from the rss feed. You should use the rss feeds for the specific sub categories - firewall, nat, etc.

Yeah prob - I took it from jimp answer that prob just some tweaking that needs to be done because that sections permissions are different. I would think being able to edit your reply should be allowed yes.

@johnpoz Probably yes, because the last part after the "." is more than 3 character long. I don't have that problem with a lot of sites, but some big company like one of my old cell phone member portal didn't like the .info So when I tried to register to the forum and I got an invalid email address I didn't look further and used my .com alias instead.

Could be a time zone issue, but it's hard to say. I don't think anything changed on this server, though we were verifying NTP on a bunch of servers yesterday, so it's possible the system clock was off on this box. All of the timestamps appeared correct to me, though.

The default for everyone, logged in or not, is to put topics in order newest to oldest. I opened up a different browser and hit the forum and I spot checked a few categories but did not see any that were sorted oldest to newest. If you are seeing "old" topics they are likely stickies and not recent posts. Look for the pushpin icon next to the topic title. If you can link to a specific example of a category showing old non-sticky posts first when logged out, I can look into seeing what is different about that one.

Hit the 3 small dots at the bottom right of your post (just next to reply and quote) and "edit" your post. Or/And add the tag "solved" to it.

There are still a few times when the new setup is straining to keep up. We still have some tuning ideas we haven't implemented yet though. Any errors like that should be temporary.
