Thank you very much for the help but i am surrendering. I understand half of the things you talk about and I think i have rules setup that makes impossibile to create those exemptions (followed the above suggestions but it didn't work) I don't want to bother anyone more than needed as I am going to reconfigure everything tomorrow (getting a new mini pc) Thank you :)

Most likely because of the format and the fact that it contains some domain names which could be confused for spam links.

@johnpoz said in New section dedicated to VPN Services: And netflix has a great US library compared to the other locations ;) VPNs won't save you there. Netflix has them all blocked. I have a VPS on Linode and I couldn't even connect with my homebrew OpenVPN instance, even though it's US-based so they seem to have every VPS provider blocked as well as commercial VPN services.

Sure that is a huge thread but the info is all old. It's also a great example of threads that should have been split up years ago. I don't see us spending any time trying to get the individual msg URL redirects to work beyond what already works. You can use the search function to locate specific posts in the thread.

Thanks all who voted me up so that I could ask my question. TL;DR: Most of these types of problems are about reputation so uou will have to ask for people to vote you up - if you deserve trust, you will likely get it. (In the interest of forum hygene-please start a new topic)

I get that you want to complain/be angry but you are playing by the troll handbook very closely. You keep moving goalposts, now gatekeeping and playing "no true Scotsman". If you want to rant without basis, do it elsewhere. You won't win anyone over by acting the way you are.

It does, but it's not as quick, easy, or efficient as the browser-based search in most cases. It is better for super long threads that don't all get rendered in one page to start with. Hitting Ctrl-F the second time brings up the browser search interface instead.

I am not familiar with NodeBB, if it is FOSS or commercial, but it may be worth asking on their support forum what the options are.

Yes, the Dark themes have various visual glitches that have been reported but not addressed.

Yeah PIA is going to be a bunch of spammers for sure!! Once they get put in the database forum is going to bock posts from those IPs.. Blam the spammers for such problems... Use your actual IP when talking to pfsense forums and you want have any issues... Which is what makes policy routing such a nice feature. I show that 23.237.x.x as your current session for the last 8 hours using Safari 12.0.1 on Apple Mac, and yeah that IP is going to be blocked..

When they changed from old forum software SMF to the New NodeBB setup seems like some images did not translate well... They are still there from my understanding just not displaying.. When this first happened there was discussion on working to fix that... But not sure if that is still the case? I know it sucks - but with growth sometime comes pain.. And some of the older posts might be harder to follow with loss of images... But this happens all the time when users use outside links to images and those images get taken down or the hosting location goes away, etc.. [image: 1541759474386-postingimageviewing-resized.png] If you can not see for example this picture I am attaching of this posting - then you have something else wrong.. ![0_1541759474204_postingimageviewing.png](/assets/uploads/files/1541759474386-postingimageviewing-resized.png) Can you see that image or are you just seeing the text like above.. In this post you should see the image and the text pointing to the image I quoted.
