I submitted a pull request a while back in this area (https://github.com/pfsense/pfsense/pull/36), but it looks a bit orphaned ;) Not quite the same, but this did make the auth work with nicely with openLDAP.

I can only imagine that you setup the Access Point on a different subnet than your LAN.  Assign the access point a static IP within your LAN subnet and disable DHCP Server in DDWRT so pfSense can do its job.
  • Some one can explain about this ?

Is it the point that the pfSense will not allow the graph to render on a foreign page?

Without captive portal, there isn't a good way to get such a list. The DHCP leases would be the closest thing. The ARP table will show current IPs active on the network talking to or through the firewall, but that gives no historical information, only a current view.

I don't know how you do it accessing webGUI to all interface but I did try in my end and it can't be, anyway, I'm not techie enough to see those tricks but, I am now happy because I am now able to de-access my webGUI from the LAN IP but I am able to access it alone, maybe it's too risky but I have not yet realized the risk. While I really appreciate all the suggestions and steps and thumbs up for that, I just discovered this simple for me.

Issue Resolved after doing below steps. 1. Go to Status -> RRD Graphs -> Settings 2. remove the tick on "Enables the RRD graphing backend." and save 3. click "Reset RRD Data" 4. tick the  "Enables the RRD graphing backend." and save. 5. You will get the RRD data back. But you will lose old data which you had.

@ilasa01: Hello Members, The problem which I experience occurs in the following configuration: 2.1-RELEASE (i386) built on Wed Sep 11 18:16:44 EDT 2013 FreeBSD 8.3-RELEASE-p11 Nanobsd Snort 2.9.4.6 pkg v. 2.6.0 The FW was initially configured for sending events to a remote syslog. This was working for quite a while. I then decided to untick the remote logging box and see events in the WebGUI, but no events are shown. Do you have an idea why I can't see any events? Thanks. Regards Salvo The problem has been solved and it was described here http://forum.pfsense.org/index.php/topic,49474.msg263625.html#msg263625 Thanks to Amanth. Salvo

There is no function for this at the moment. It would be nice to be able to keep all the interface settings "running" but mark the interface as down. Useful for: a) A WAN link that is having constant intermittent errors, coming and going, with stuff failing over and back every 5 minutes. Then it can be set to "down" until the hardware/ISP problem is properly resolved. b) Testing - easy to take down a WAN to test and see how things fail over to other WAN/s. This is an Open Source project - if you would like it then write it.  ;)
