There are some changes coming to the package system that may fix this, hopefully. (Along with other issues)

@jimp: If you always had gateways set on every rule like that, then pfSense shouldn't have ever shown up as a hop when tracing outbound. It has always been like that indeed.  So probably i'm wrong :) Thanks for the great help!

The problem isn't with the install, or running, it is when it is reinstalled because of not running correctly, it uninstalls a system library and crashes the embedded system I am running it on.  It was addressed (http://redmine.pfsense.org/issues/875), but as far as HAVP is concerned, I have yet to see anything happen.

As i posted in the other topic, your fix for snort has resolved my issues. I removed snort, reinstalled it, edited the config file, then deleted the cache and rebooted. Then I attempted saving settings in multiple areas and no duplicate interface. Thanks for the quick fix on this issue.

Yes, that matters, they need different gateways.

Looks like it lists openvpn-client-export.tgz as a required file to install, but during install it downloads that to /root and then deletes it. So when the code checks that all of the required files are there, that one is missing. I'll whip up a fix for it shortly.

I thought PPTP logs were under the PPP tab, you just need to press the PPTP button there. I may be wrong though, there's an open ticket for the logging. Again though, a new thread with a more relevant subject would catch more eyes. EDIT: I see you started a new thread, nevermind. :-)

ok, Thanks. I prefer to turn them off. I'm not at all sure who would need a printer attached to a firewall, unless you've got some type of freaky worldwide RTTY notification system going on. I guess the next step will be open source BIOS programs tailored for mission specific open source software. Just a thought. Jits.

I don't think dynamic gateways can be renamed, since they are supposed to be automatic.

Are you sure that is not the problem of your browser?

I have installed HAVP as well and it doesn't seem to catch any viruses at all.  Does anyone know what happened to HAVP?
