It doesn't seem to cause any problems with the web gui, only a message printed on the console when PHP scripts are run from the console. The fix should show up in the snapshot after the next one.
maybe you can fix the issue that IGMPProxy stops working when WAN connection is disconnected and reconnected ?! That would be really great.
I have to restart IGMPProxy every day manually…
Matthias
Works fine here so I guess that is not a general issue…
It is funny that I found the answer to a completely new problem on an old thread I started.
In any case, I believe this is what we were looking for this evening:
Have you vreated a ticket on redmine.pfsense.org??
Not enough info here to point to a bug. There would be a whole lot more than one report, and another that sounds like a PMTUD issue completely unrelated to DNS.
I did as you suggested but I was not able to fix it with the import. I also tried to partially import piece by piece over a virgin installation. That did not work out either. Hence I was really lost and needed to have the link up and running again.
But seriously: I don't want to complain. Overall the pfsense router is a great piece of SW on the ALIX boards, and also very low power. This is exactly what I was looking for.
jimp > Well that's what I did with FreeBSD 8.1 and it didn't work. I'll try out with the FreeBSD 8.2 RC-1 but I don't think it'll change much because from what I see it looks like a driver issue rather than a kernel issue.
(Driver loads fine the kernel, no panic, no weird messages in the kernel log)
Well we'll see in a couple of minutes. BSD 8.2 is nearly installed.
