You have some options… put in a request for package update with the dev team (but they might be busy with finalising v1.2.3) post a bounty in the bounty section of the forum, someone might take up the offer upgrade yourself

VSphere Client often recognises the OpenVM-Tools as out of date… it only means that if you run some unmanaged machine you do not have the ability to (soft )shut them down or else via the VSphere-Client, you need to do it over the GUI of pfSense itself... Do not worry... it's ok ;-)

its not pfsense. its in squid package it self that was being compiled without delaypool enabled.

Finally got around to testing this - it works fine with Crypto card removed. Phil

As best I know pfSense is available only for Intel x86 32-bit architecture which doesn't include UltraSparc CPUs.

SOLVED One note - THE NANOBSD/EMBEDDED VERSIONS OF PFSENSE DEFAULT TO THE SERIAL CONSOLE. pls use  serial console rs232 and connect with hyperterminal

The only reason I suggested adding a default to the dpd setting is because it seems like most firewalls have that setting enabled by default.

The url redirect with port 8000 comes up on my install as well but causes no problems. I have a full live cd install running on a 1 u pfsense server and was able to get CP to work on it. I did not have a black list though. If you have your squid set up with a white list did you set up the redirect url in that list?

Do you have siproxd enabled? It will send out traffic on the WAN IP.
