    @MadX:

    Thank you for your reply, but the question is why with pfsense 1.2 everything works fine and not with 1.2.x
    If it is a problem with my rules under pfsense 1.2 i should have the same issue, no ?

    Same here.
    Rule 161 is evaluated but there is explicit allow all and doesn't matter what I change it is still the same.
    I have bridge between VLAN (DMZ) and WAN, all Intel PRO cards.
    What is your MBUF usage?

    Well the support is there, just no drivers exist ;)

    @http://www.onlamp.com/pub/a/bsd/2008/02/26/whats-new-in-freebsd-70.html:

    What is the status of wireless support in FreeBSD 7.0?

    Andrew Thompson: The wireless networking has had a major update for 7.0. The most visible change is in scanning, this has been split out to support background scanning which updates the scan cache during inactivity so the client can roam to the strongest AP. The scanning policies have also been modularized.

    The new code has working 802.11n support although no drivers have been released yet. Changes have also been made to allow future vap support which gives multi-bss/multi-sta on supporting hardware, the vap work is ongoing and may be released this year. Benjamin Close added the new wpi(4) driver for the Intel 3945 wireless card and the new usb drivers zyd(4) and rum(4) were ported over by Weongyo Jeong and Kevin Lo respectively.

    The majority of the net80211 work was done by Sam Leffler with contributions from Kip Macy, Sepherosa Ziehau, Max Laier, Kevin Lo, myself, and others.

    A little update to notify that browsing using wireless devices has greatly improved.
    Before i had tiny .. "lags" .. probably due to the reauth bug .. since using the same devices over ethernet worked fine.
    But now, everything loads fast on all tested wireless-enabled gadgets (and i use the exact same wireless settings as before ..)

    Joy.

    No I cannot get it to work at all.  ???  Does this mean I need to use 2.0 if I want to be able to prioritize voice traffic in VPN tunnel?

    Just update, without changing any settings. This was my second update to 1.2.3:

    1.2.1 -> 1.2.3 (20090125-0939) -> 1.2.3 (20090130-1630)

    Btw. I think your numbers are good. With previous snapshot i get 10x more errors than packets. Interesting thing is that more errors come when the communication was idle…

    Most likely could not lookup the cached interface.  Adding code to log an error for this condition.

    @databeestje:

    look in pfsense-utils.inc and find the cpu stats gathering function.

    It needs to look like this code, which is actually from 2.0 but should work fine.

    /* the CPU stats gathering function. */                         $rrdupdatesh .= "`$top -d 2 -s 1 0 | $awk '{gsub(/%/, \"\")} BEGIN { \\\n";                         $rrdupdatesh .= "printf \"$rrdtool update $rrddbpath$ifname$proc \" } \\\n";                         $rrdupdatesh .= "{ if ( \$2 == \"processes:\" ) { processes = \$1; } \\\n";                         $rrdupdatesh .= "else if ( \$1 == \"CPU:\" ) { user = \$2; nice = \$4; sys = \$6; interrupt = \$8; } \\\n";                         $rrdupdatesh .= "} END { printf \"N:\"user\":\"nice\":\"sys\":\"interrupt\":\"processes }'`\n\n";

    It does!

    tnx - pretty graphs are a must, aren't they  :D
