I was having the same problem. Loaded this one, and it started working much better.

You don't have to enter anything there, it will use the default servers to update.

The field is just a list of servers, the updates must be hosted correctly on there.

an attempt to better explaination

I have a scenario where I need to check that two different servers are up to consider service as up

If server A and server B is up - goto server B else goto server C

Is that doable?, if not - can I check server A as below;

If A is up go to server B
if A is down go server backup server C
(in this workaround scenario I will let server A check server B for me)

server B is in both scenarios the endpoint for the user, but ALSO depending on A status
server B is a blackbox so I can’t do anything there.

@gertjan ClamAV uses Icap with squid is it possible for it to do that? Icap is http. It has caught a virus on the streamer once also however. My browser itself did not catch the issue this time all ClamAV with this one. This was a iMac running desktop version M1 2021. This was me looking for math help.

I am sorry to reply so late to this, but I did not access the forums for a long while because I did not have any notification about it.
I managed to make haproxy work perfect only by moving to ssl redirect on haproxy and adding letsencrypt certificates to the server.
I did not manage to make it work without ssl.
This is anyway better practice, as traffic is encrypted and browsers and other devices will trust my servers.
