Quite possible that your terminal program isn't actually sending F2 when you press F2. If you're using something like PuTTY, make sure that under settings Terminal > Keyboard you set the function keys to Xterm R6. Other terminal applications may have similar settings. If that particular setting doesn't work, try another one, or try a different application to access the console. You might also be able to plug in a USB keyboard and press F2 on that.

Ah, nice. That's a good result then. Yes they must be using some thing out of band for the IP phone, which is good.

Hmm, the i350 NIC is kinda surprising but there are a number of NICs that present like that. The only NICs we can ensure will work are those we sell. So if you need 4 1G ports the AOC-SGP-i4 does work. Steve

I have kinda given up. After talking to two people at Netgate TAC its confirmed that this router can NO do 10gbit, and not even close. If you are going to do anything real world that include the firewall, vlans etc. it will give you 2-3 git at MOST on a good day. The hardware is just not capable of anything else. This is the numbers Netgate is giving me, but most plausible the hardware caps out at around 1.5gbit if you are running from LAN to WAN with firewall and some packet analyzing on.

If you are not booting from eMMC the system never writes to it so it's never going to get anywhere near the ware limit. You should have no problems. Steve

You should be able to restore a 5100 config there and just reassign the interfaces. If you have a number of sub-interfaces like VLANs or PPP etc you might want to just edit the config directly. There is risk doing that. If you open a ticket with us we can convert your old config to allow you to import it directly into the 8200. Steve

If you send me your NDI in chat I may be able to retrieve the device key. You'll still need the encryption password of course.

@jucaboes said in 2100 end of life: I have been told by a local partner in my country that the 4100 appliance was discontinued last month. This was the case due to a parts shortage but I believe there has been a new shipment made. End of SALE, however, does not mean END OF LIFE. EOL means no more updates, patches, etc. End of sale means no more sale. But as I understand it we have new product coming so your reseller should have updated information soon.
