@Smeg.Head I'd think the main question would be whether it's a one-off or reproducible. Obviously that situation isn't correct but it's a question of why, and I haven't seen any other recent posts about it. Was the install done on 2.7.2 or is it older? I don't recall offhand when the bug was, but I'd guess 5-8 years ago.

@Antibiotic No it’s not possible with NtopNG as it is not a Netflow collector. You need nProbe for that which will “translate” recieved netflows into flows that NtopNG understands and can visualize (with very very little detail might I add as Netflows has no additonal information apart from sender/reciever and volume). The NtopNG package and the product in general is more geared towards visualising and recording traffic details from actual packet captures. This contains MUCH more metadata about the sessions than netflows (DNS names, protocol information and myriads of other things). But pffSense Plus has a builtin Netflow exporter if you have an external netflow collector on hand.

@BiloxiGeek said in DNSBL and IPv6: Does it just follow the IPv4 address that is listed above that? In my case it would end up being ::10.0.0.86 Yes. In this specific context that's the notation being used. (Full IPv6 web server address, for reference then, would be: http://[0000:0000:0000:0000:0010:0000:0000:0086]) Nota bene: I use 0.0.0.0 which renders the DNSBL webserver useless and inaccessible, but otherwise returns 0.0.0.0 or ::/NOERROR answers to all blocked lookups.

@jhg said in NUT fails to start after 2.7.2 -> 2.8.0 upgrade: Interesting. I would have thought the initial reboot, which occurred as part of the upgrade, would have done the trick, but it took a second reboot, just now, to get things working. Glad you have it sorted. There was no difference in the output of usbconfig show_ifdrv at any point -- before or after unplugging/replugging the USB cable, nor after rebooting. ... Question: What would tell me whether or not a driver was loaded? If there were an attached driver, it should have shown up with the show_ifdrv command. If you use the command and look at the other usb devices, I think they will show attached drivers. I don't expect to see a driver attached to the ups, because there is a quirk that tells the OS to ignore that device (and not attach a driver). Look for idVendor and idProduct in the above output. The Vendor ID for your device is 0764, which corresponds to Cyber Power Systems, and the Product ID for your device is 0601, which is registered as "PR1500LCDRT2U UPS" (don't sweat an exact match for the name). You can see the quirk with the following command: [25.07-RC][root@fw]/root: usbconfig dump_device_quirks | grep 0764 VID=0x0764 PID=0x0005 REVLO=0x0000 REVHI=0xffff QUIRK=UQ_HID_IGNORE VID=0x0764 PID=0x0501 REVLO=0x0000 REVHI=0xffff QUIRK=UQ_HID_IGNORE VID=0x0764 PID=0x0601 REVLO=0x0000 REVHI=0xffff QUIRK=UQ_HID_IGNORE [25.07-RC][root@fw]/root: Your device is third on the list. The HID_IGNORE quirk says to ignore the device and not attach a driver. @jhg said in NUT fails to start after 2.7.2 -> 2.8.0 upgrade: You might consider adding this resolution to the release notes for 2.8. LOL... sorry, I don't have input to the release notes (I don't work here). While I wrote and maintain various packages, including NUT, I'm still just a volunteer. Most packages are actually written by volunteers.

It seams you are trying to mix a few features of haproxy that cannot be used together. https < cannot use cookies or any other method that 'modifies' the traffic. http < should not run on port 443 but on port 80, but does not support https traffic in the haproxy1.4 I suppose you do want the endusers to use your website securely, so that listening on port 443 is 'correct'. Do you really need the cookie? and the stats I you do there might be another option in the new haproxy-devel 1.5dev17 package that fits your needs. It allows using 'http mode' which allows for the cookie setting with SSL-offloading possibly even combined with a SSL backend. But this does require configuring the certificates on the haproxy settings. Though the package is still in active development and options might change without notice..

As an update… I decided to reboot pfsense, and see if things got better. It crashed right after the first menu. Fortunately, safe mode let me start up pfsense, and I uninstalled all packages. I haven't rebooted yet. I think pfsense is great, but I think I won't be using any packages with pfsense anymore.

Hey Jules, Im currently changing the haproxy-devel package for pfSense 2.1 based on HAproxy1.5dev17. And thought this could be a nice addition.. But have hit a bit of a issue when trying to support/configure it haproxy tells me: "library does not support TLS NPN extension" Probably due to the 'old' OpenSSL version.. compiled into HAproxy. haproxy -vv tells me: Built with OpenSSL version : OpenSSL 0.9.8q 2 Dec 2010 Basically the configuration could probably be done with the use of the advanced options.. But figuring out how to compile haproxy against OpenSSL1.0.0d or newer im not sure yet how to procede/change the package.xml build description to allow for this.. If someone is willing to help out with this, no objections from me :). And ill happily add the ssl_npn ACL option into the php files.

Thanks for your reply! I will update the firewall ASAP. The strange thing is that from the table is missing the most significant IP, the one with higher bandwith (about 50% of the total).

Same problem here after a power failure. It seems that at least one of Freeradius' databases in /var/log/radacct/timecounter/ was corrupted. I removed them all (4 files), then restarted the service without any further problem. Hoping this will help you

When you imported the CA, did you also import the user certificates? Or just the CA?  If you imported the user certs, did you maybe import the certs first and the CA later? If you import the CA first, and then the certs, it should locate the proper CA and form an association and work with the client export package as expected. Though actually in the code it appears to find it either way (CA imported first or Certs imported first), so long as you import the CA and the user certificates.
