    Screenshots of of lan and opt interfaces would be great. But for mean time do you want that pfsense act's like a router between, so it don't nat between two local interfaces?
    if so, you'd have to change nat type to manual (Firewall: NAT: Outbound)

    go to NAT section select manual and click save add new NAT rule DO not NAT = Check this Interface= LAN Protocol = Any Source = Network, put OPT subnet here Source port = leave it empty Destination =Network, put LAN subnet here Destination port = leave it empty Leave others empty Description: opt-2-lan or something descripive

    And after that create another rule which is almost the same, change Interface OPT and source and destination switch places

    Finalizing touches, move this new rules at the top of the list and save/apply changes. now it should work. (I hope I didn't mess up with interfaces badly)

    @costasppc:

    We had to switch to AON  for our VoIP to wrk properly (outbound traffic to the same port).

    Best regards

    Kostas

    But here it's the other way around…
    Automatic is working fine. AON isn't.

    Furthermore can't I see any difference in the rules
    We have siproxd running.
    Because of the proxy there's no NAPT (Network Address & Port Translation)

    What I've tried is adding the gateway manually but it didn't make any difference.
    And I,v,e tried to add a static route in system->routing->routes
    But it didn't make any difference. I'm not sure if iv's did it the right way.
    this were the settings
    Destination network : my wan ipadress 188.x.x.x
    gateway : the 62.x.x.x

    The workaround is to add the gateway as a host and as gateway.
    In your case that's the 62.x.x.x address.

    How do I add the gateway as host?

    It would be nice if pfsense lets you enter a static address with a 255.255.255.255 subnet and a gateway which is, of course, outside that scope. Have you tried that?

    Do you mean enter the wan ipadres as a static adres?

    Thanx again Wybren

    For socks proxy:
    Putty: Connection->SSH->Tunnels
    Source port: 8080 or whatever
    Destination, none
    Select Dynamic
    Press Add and Apply

    For browser(firefox)
    Tools->Settings->Advanced
    Network-tab->settings
      Set proxy manually
      Select proxy radio button and filling: localhost and 8080 as port, click few times ok

    I personally use foxy proxy addon for quick switching between proxies.

    Did you try rebooting afterwards?  Not sure whether the interface list gets repopulated when hotplugging devices.

    If the K3770 is one of the more common Huwaei devices then it stands a good chance of working, although (see other threads) there seems to be an issue with 3G PPP links not being restored after outages.

    They should route you the second subnet, to one of the IPs within the first subnet. Then you don't need VIPs at all if you're using with 1:1 NAT, or Other type VIPs for other areas.

    check the system log after boot to see if it's actually showing up, sounds like it's not for some reason.

    2.01 now has an entry for ipalias.
    Could someone please update the wiki to reflect this?
    I think it doesn't need the manual entry of the extra IP on the interface.
    I'm not sure though as I wasn't able to make it work.
    My PPP-router was easy and that one is working.
    I can ping my router on 192.168.178.1 from the console, but the NAT-line, which is working for the PPP-modem, doesn't seem to work.

    I still have the pfsense on automatic most of the time, because little things like VoIP with siproxd doesn't work properly.
    It's confusing as I did a comparison of pfctl -sa in both cases..

    Just as an update (for anyone that cares :)) I managed to get this working. For some reason when I changed the tier from 1 to 2, rebooted PFsense, it was working perfectly, testing a few torrents right now the and bandwidth is split right in half between both WANs :)

    Persistance pays off I guess! Just when I was ready to throw in the towel.

    Helpful, but can i have two gateways then? Say i want to do this on the WAN side so i have a public switch with two or 10 ISPs plugged into it. I would like to add my static IP's from each ISP and gateway. Then setup failover/loadbalancing or BGP.

    I will be doing BGP hopefully if i can get openbgp working. I haven't had luck finding a great guide on doing this.

    DSL_A3 Monitor IP - 8.8.8.8
    DSL_A4 Monitor IP - 8.8.4.4
    Kabel    Monitor IP - Global Gateway IP use

    gateway groups
    DSL_A3 - Tier2

    Internet –- pfsense ---- wrt160nl --- dir-300

    Is this your setup?

    try to configure this way:

    internet---- pfsense (192.168.0.254) ----- wrt160n(192.168.0.1)
                          |-------------------------dri-300 (192.168.0.2)

    On wrt160n, connect dir-300 and pfsense on lan ports.
    If you have more devices to connect, assign wan port to lan o ddwrt.

    Also select only one device to be the dhcp server for 192.168.0.0/24 network.

    Hi cmb,

    Yes; that was the problem.

    I got rid of the silly route and gateway, and changed the IPSec rule for protocol any (*) instead of just TCP, and that solved it. Maybe, pfsense could recommend 'any' as a default protocol for IPSec firewall rules.

    Thanks so much.

    Have you had any success? I'm having an issue with almost the config except that my modems are a sonicwall and ZyXel.
