    @vito:

    Was this to allow HAVP to be muti wan aware?
    wondering because of testing i did on an older snap, all internet traffic would stop when switched to a different LB WAN.

    Probably not, that is a completely different issue than it not installing proper rules.

    If you want to know about something like that, start a new thread and the maintainer might offer some comments.

    That is a completely different problem than the original poster in this thread.

    @mxx:

    From my experience the wan rule is created automatically for you.
    Isn't this the case anymore when you select pass?

    Correct. With "pass" no WAN rule is needed, the rdr pass will do both - allow the traffic and do the redirect.

    Note that it's mainly useful with ports that are left fully exposed to the public like web servers. If you want to have more flexible control over what traffic is allowed to hit that port, then rdr pass is probably not the best choice.

    Hi Supermule,

    Problem is solved already!! It was really the host, that was not working correctly. I switched off pfSense, startet my old Windows 2003 Server: Same lag and same effects!!! After complete restart speed is now up to 30.000kB/s, without need to install Vmware Tools, vmxnet and whatever.

    Thank you very much für your patience.

    Had this problem every time I tried to log in using Firefox. Manually deleting the cookies worked for me.

    It looks likeit might be the Snort install that's broken.

    See this link http://forum.pfsense.org/index.php/topic,30135.0.html

    I am sorry but you should be more verbose to even have any help.
    Provide information on how you have configured stuff(screenshots, config.xml)
    Provide /tmp/rules.debug or the output ot /status.php

    Also some packet traces are good.

    Ok thanks, that cleared my mind ;) Yes, IP is changing.
    I was wondering why can summarize speeds when using 2 DSL for single download and cannot for different ISPs..

    To elaborate a little on:
    @ermal:

    You might get interface mismatch otherwise should just work.

    If you keep everything else the same and swap the motherboard the next boot MIGHT report an interface mismatch because the onboard NIC (if any) might not be the same as the onboard NIC on your existing motherboard. This is relatively easy to correct at boot time on the console.

    If you are looking for someone with experience to report then you will have to give more details (at least brand and model) on the motherboard you are planning to swap in.

    The FreeBSD documentation (man pages and supported hardware list) doesn't appear to list that particular model but I've seen a wide variety of Realtek chips listed in the pfSense forums as working.
