    If you noticed a slow down, maybe because playing with the theme cause the ntp client to acquire time very often since it suppressed the time update interval in your XML conf file like it did for me.  See my previous post about theme changing and NTP issue.

    Re add manually the time intervall parameters, it did worked out for me.

    I am not expert , but I think enabling Allow intra-BSS communication in wireless interface options should do the trick.
    Just go to Interfaces -> wireless interface name (for example ath0) and make sure Allow intra-BSS communication is checked.

    As I mentioned in the other thread for the clog issue, it looks like it will be fixed in the next snap, whenever that finishes building. I've tested the clog binary that will be in that snapshot and it works for me.

    Hello

    I followed instructions above to install pfsense 1.2.2 full on 1gb cf card via virtualbox with embeded kernel.
    When i select grub as bootloader the installation stops.So i selected just install bootloader without grub and the installation was completed.
    I put the cf card to alix board but i can not manage to get reply to 192.168.1.1
    Did i do something wrong? is it important to install grub?

    thank you

    Yes - working correctly.
    But this is not all of the improvements - in my opinion :
    Dashboard appeared without rebooting !? (Status -> System…)

    This is not all the changes, improvements ?
    There are a major changes in Firewall log... ? (diag_dns, easyrule)

    As I said in my reply in that other thread, you may want to try another new snap, the latest from tonight. There were some other issues with the builder that caused problems.

    I loaded the latest pfSense 1.2.3-RC/7.2 snap in a VM, and then loaded an XP VM behind it, and the WebGUI still came up practically instantaneously.

    Any chances to see this time interval setting back in the web GUI?

    Thank

    @jimp:

    @Vorkbaard:

    It would be nice if you removed the "Note: You can configure your IPSEC here." message. If you didn't know where to configure IPSEC you'd probably not be interested in that particular widget anyway.

    Been using it for a couple of days now and I still like it :)

    I'll consider that for the next update. I can't say I've ever clicked that link, but some people may find it useful…

    I removed that link (actually, moved it to the widget title) in the current version, which should be up now.

    ClamAV was the culprit.  ;D  I was holding 80% of the disk space hostage with log files.

    Darkk, I think bridging issue is still evident and needs to be fixed before the final.
    If you go to the respective thread , there are quite a few people suffering from it (including myself).

    The "1.2 release" is likely only released versions that can be found on the mirrors, which includes 1.2.2 and 1.2.3-RC1 from a few weeks ago.

    I'm not sure why the .updaters directory isn't working, but there are a couple snapshots here:

    http://snapshots.pfsense.org/FreeBSD_RELENG_7_1/pfSense_RELENG_1_2/updates/

    That URL won't work with auto-update though. You'll need to download that and upload it via the manual firmware update, or use the console update and paste the full URL to a .tgz file there, such as http://snapshots.pfsense.org/FreeBSD_RELENG_7_1/pfSense_RELENG_1_2/updates/pfSense-Full-Update-1.2.3-20090522-2312.tgz
