Yes, the throughput on the 2100 is limited by the CPU so you will see usage proportionate the rate.
You will see though that the CPU usage is not equal on both CPU cores. So the limit is reached when one core is at 100% use as each NIC has one queue. Thus the total CPU usage may not show 100% at max throughput.

We have no way to know for sure without testing it. It may work but the chipset has some limitations that restrict SFP module compatibility and that makes it less likely.
@johnpoz I do know Telus (ISP) does have access down to their equipment level for customer support.
They are required to ask permission to go any further.
I have worked with some of their customer support personnel who had difficulty speaking the same language.
The only thing I know is at this point if I return to default
Interfaces WAN -> Reserved Networks -> Private (Block enabled) then the SG-1100 will not pass traffic through the device. It is baffling as the default setting are only enable after considerable research.
I would like to find a better answer on this.
