    @stephenw10

    Thank you for the information. The WIFI have 3 difference SSIDs/VLANs plus the main one on it. I would like to use the port as a TRUNK.

    The simplest would be 1 VLAN for 1 AP, assign to separate port. That is not I wanted to do.

    Bridging is not a recommended then I just leave it as it is. It is working very well now, better not to touch it.

    Thank you very much

    To be clear, there is no VGA/HDMI output on the 4100 or 6100.

    @bobsoul these guys disagree. They shouldn’t have to read/know the documentation or best practices

    Congrats and thank you for taking the time to educate yourself. Really was a breath of fresh air.

    You should be able to upgrade that in place to reach 22.05. But, I agree, coming from 2.4.5p1 I would probably install clean and restore.

    In Interfaces LAN there is a field 'Switch port'. That will use the external switch port status for the interface since the physical NIC on the 1100 is internal and always UP. By default that should be set to port 2 (the LAN port). If it's set to port 1 it will reload when the OPT port links.
    You can set it to 'Select the switch port' and it will no longer reflect external changes there.

    @johnpoz HI.
    i have asus merlin on the device, but i cant figure out how to get vlan on it.
    I read in forum that it would be possible to bind a vlan to a specific port on the router.

    But i dont know how.
    It seems like it dont support robocfg which is needed.

    Total users is not really a good metric. Total throughput is usually more relevant. Total connections or states can be limiting for some but 4G will give you ~2M connections which should be fine for 1000 users.

    Contact TAC and request the appropriate recovery image for the device:

    @bogusexception The thing I see most often is using a bad, or failing, mini-USB cable.

    The 3100 uses mini-USB, the 1100/1000 use micro-USB. The requirement is that it passes data as well as power for these models.

    @stephenw10 Thank you for the explanation and the link to the documentation in the event it would need to be disabled. Things seem to be fine as it is. It was just something I had not seen on my SG-5100 .

    Thanks again!

    Yes, those can be used as a WAN also. They require some additional config to separate out for individual use but it's not hard:

    Yeah, that's what I was thinking but really you want a DC-DC device for in car and I can't see anything that NUT supports.

    Steve

    Interesting, I suppose I can make a board that emulates a NUT end device, that could be an interesting project!

    They run BlinkBoot, which is UEFI.
