New Snapshot is up now.

The PPTP server works but making a connection from inside the LAN to an outside server does not. Even if the PPTP functions are not turned on at all.

Likely a FreeBSD or HyperV bug, or both. Try a stock FreeBSD 7.0 and it will likely do the same. If that's the case, I suggest asking on a FreeBSD list, as it's not something we're capable of resolving.

As of RC1 dated 31st Jul, the firmware auto-upgrade box still always shows a new version available.

I am not in bridge mode at all.

Edit:  When I first checked the logs apbridge was enabled.  I don't know what that does but I disabled it and still get mtu of 2290.

Nothing uses those currently.

I installed Squid and SquidGuard… and had the problem noticed by adrianhensler ...

I uninstalled them and just reinstalled Squid : All went right ;D !

Sorry but we are at 1.2.1-RC now.  No new features can be added; only bug fixes.

We'll try to get this patch into 1.3 once the dust settles from 1.2.1.

Your version is more than 2 weeks old.

I would recommend you upgrade to the latest since I have seen MANY MANY issue go away over the last 2 weeks.

Need more info. Is the LAN accessible afterwards?  If so, what do the system log and Status-> Interfaces show?

hm… I can't even see 1.2.1 pfsense wireless as available network anymore even though it was working in 1.2 and config file is coming from there. all settings look to be ok.

For me as well
Alix configuration with Full install on Microdrive. Perfect working WiFi, after upgrade no wifi, downgrading tot RC 1.2 and Wifi works again.
