@znelbok:
on the contrary, those that are new coming here with that question will find the answer now that there is a thread with this title.
I am new and did not find the reply in any other thread.
it is not all bad having questions asked again if the thread subject offers a good explanation of the question.
Mick
Did you read the forum rules?
Apparently not.
Let me quote:
Allways search forum, FAQ and WIKI before asking, We do have them so that we will not have to answer every question over and over.
Do not crosspost ! if you are looking for quick answers try IRC first. If you do not get any answers there, try either Forum or mailing lists. NEVER both.
So not only was this question posted multiple times at different places, no, the search function which can be found here: http://forum.pfsense.org/index.php?action=search has not been used as well.
Heck. There's even a a hardware compatibility list on the mainpage of http://pfsense.com (hardware –> compatibility list): http://www.pfsense.org/index.php?option=com_content&task=view&id=46&Itemid=51
Not meant to be rude, but it gets annoying if you have to answer the same questions over and over and over and over and over again just because someone didnt even TRY to find the relevant information.
And honestly. If you cant even get the hardware running then please stop right now and get a clue what you're messing with.
