I see the same here.

When i rebuild .iso or .img it make following error:
"Parse error: systax error, unexpected '&', expecting T_VARIABLE or '$' in /etc/inc/auth.inc on line 89".
I didn't change anything in soure code or others.
It apear when i boot pfSense.

I did it. I used the Floating rule option for packet matching. Floating rule can be found at firewall rules tab. Many thanks to pfsense developers. Good Job.

thanks a lot. it really does have some improvements. squid3 and havp is already functioning at web gui level though not all of its menus. squid's cache manager for one, is still not there.

again, thanks for the information. that means it's in aggressive development right now. 8)

and of course, i will be waiting for that "cache manager" to function from it's gui. ;)

And still, today, running newest snapshot…  None other than the basic changes made to settings, multi-WAN set up correctly, and first dyndns account created for the OPT1 iface, gui has hung now for over 3 minutes, and I'm still waiting...

Finally did get it done, 5 minutes, 28 seconds...  Not sure if the update succeeded, as my dyndns host still reflects the same IP as it did (as it should)...

Oops. Just upgraded an Alix embedded from 1.2.2-RC1 with pfSense-Embedded-Update-1.2.3-20090307-1252.tgz and it never returned.

Wish I'd read this post first ;)  Now I have to dig the mobo out of that case, pull the CF etc., etc.

I've been having a similar issue but it occurs even when trying to use a single WAN.  If the WAN uses dhcp everything works great.

However, when I setup static and setup the same gateway that was assigned by dhcp no more traffic gets through.  I tried:
-setting the WAN ip to the one given by dhcp and others I know are available
-creating a new gateway from the WAN interface setup page
-specifying the gateway as default
-assigning the gateway to the dns servers (dropdown next to boxes for dns ip's)
-using manual outbound NAT

Once I stopped using dhcp the status->gateway page would always show the gateway as offline.  I've been meaning to download a new snapshot and try again but haven't had time yet.  I believe the snapshot I tested with was from 2/26/2009.

I have no CD-ROM drive at that FW device now, so reinstall from CD and restore config.xml is theoretically possible but not so good solution for me.

And without connection with my situation it is little bit strange and useless to have at OS only dump utility without restore utility.  :)
