Restore the full backup you made prior to upgrading
OR
Install fresh and then restore your config.xml backup
If you don't have a full backup or a config backup of your previous install then you're screwed. If you are a paying support customer and have the AutoConfigBackup package installed, then you maybe able to restore based on that but I've never used AutoConfigBackup to restore a previous version's config file or if it's even possible.
Otherwise you can make a config.xml backup with package information removed (it's a checkbox) and then do a restore and manually add/configure your packages.
Hi,
thanks for your quick and sorry for my late response.
I was on vacation… 8)
I did install form scratch, but changed the hardware and installed as a vm. Backup restored fine and everything is up and running...
Best solution is to put your modem into bridged mode and allow your PFsense box to do everything.
Note down the modem settings for connecting to your ISP (PPPoe, SIP, username, PW etc etc) as you will need to put these settings into the WAN page of your PFsense box.
Well, I found 'set hint.run.0.disable=1' later on, after I was able to restore Internet connectivity at home :)
That's a good tip, but you have to be careful - if missed, booting and crashing caused many filesystem errors in my installation…
I understood you. Thank you for taking the time to find a solution to this problem! I very much hope that in future versions will be implemented to support the transfer H323 protocol to the fullest!
