They should, yes, but this topic is for the status showing incorrectly in the dashboard widget. That is, they were running as they should but the status was wrong. If they are really not starting for you, that should be a new issue in a separate thread.

Is anyone else seeing this? Is there any debug data I can gather for the pfSense team to help debug this before the 2.0 release?

the problem is with the rate package which is builtin into 2.0 now which means the graph shows but 2.0 having the rate package as default on the right side of the graph, the list of ips and each of their bandwidth usage, doesnt show bridged interfaces

i usually check if the traffic goes to proper queues using the queues page but is there any other way to check accurately in which queue the traffic is going and that too with a lower interval value?

@ermal: AFAIk, it cannot be upgraded and i have written the new shaper on 2.0! Ermal… I was reading this link that you were involved with... It talks about AltQ & AutoQoS Cisco packet fragmentation and the impact to VoIP traffic on WAN speeds of 512Kb or less http://forum.pfsense.org/index.php?action=printpage;topic=15508.0 I run 2 VoIP lines with pfSense Beta 2.0 and do experience some delay on the voice side.. is there any truth to the document above to assist in making VoIP work better in lower bandwidth situations? Let me know if you get a chance. Jim

@cmb: Is everyone here trying using Intel em cards? Curious what driver(s) have issues, as that seems to be the cause. I did get lagg + VLAN trunk working fine with fxp cards, haven't had a chance to test em yet but will, as well as a few other NICs I have available. I am using the Intel PRO/1000 MT Dual Port Server Adapter (http://www.intel.com/products/server/adapters/pro1000mt-dualport/pro1000mt-dualport-overview.htm) in an Dell 1650 machine. unfortunately i do not have a second setup to test with different cards. It seems to be related to the em(4) driver.

Hi, What setup do you want to create. According to the sticky, setup number 3 does not exist, but should be your last suuggestion When You want to failover from WAN 1, to load balancing WAN2 and WAN3, then: WAN1 Tier 1 WAN2 Tier 2 WAN3 Tier 3 Greets, Marcus

Thanks for the quick reply. Oh, ok. I was looking at the package list for 2.0 and since there was no comment I was assuming that all packages without any entries would work… ;) Best regards, Jens

Ermal, is it really supposed to be gone in 2.0? I still show it as being present in the git repo in etc/inc/config.inc And it's still included in quite a few places in /etc/rc, and in /usr/local/www and I imagine it is used in other places as well.
