Dann ist ganz klar User/Pass bei deinem Client falsch oder wird von der Gegenseite abgelehnt. Ganz egal was woanders eingetragen ist, wenn das hier als Feedback im Log kommt, ist das was deine Config an den Server übermittelt falsch. Dann hast du entweder deine Credentials falsch eingetragen, es haben sich irgendwelche Kontrollzeichen reingemogelt (Leerzeichen, Linebreak o.ä.) oder man muss bei Nord noch irgendwas anderes machen, dass das bei deren Servern funktioniert mit dem Login. Aus Mangel an Account und Co kann ich da leider wenig zu sagen.

Ich habe das hier mit Proton, die dazu auch ne vernünftige Anleitung haben, zweimal für völlig unterschiedliche Standorte durchgespielt - da funktioniert alles einwandfrei. Die Credentials die mir Proton ausgibt, werden sauber beim Client in den Feldern User/Pass eingetragen und ausgelesen und er kann sich verbinden.

Notfalls mal bei Nord nachfragen warum OVPN da sagt, dass User/Pass falsch wären.

OK I did some digging and figured that out. Your post now makes sense to me now that I know what emerging threats is.

I did notice this post is kind of old and when I take a look at the RBN rules and it appears they are no longer updated. http://doc.emergingthreats.net/bin/view/Main/RussianBusinessNetwork

The RBN list has been discontinued for awhile now… The only two free lists available from Emerging Threats (now Proofpoint) is ET Compromised and ET Block....  With the ET IQRisk suite (Paid subscription) they have an IPRep list available...

Just a small issue with 2.3 RC… when NTP Graphs is enabled under Services / NTP / Settings - the units appear not to be set.

Thus when a hover over window is displayed for NTP Graph under Status / Monitoring - the units appear as null. Probably should be ms (milliseconds) for all except freq which is likely Hz (Hertz).

Update 8/21/2013:

I've now had a connection for 16 Days 07 Hours 52 Minutes 17 Seconds using build 2.1-RC1 (i386) built on Thu Aug 1 19:03:40 EDT 2013.

This is the longest I've maintained a connection with no reboots or any other action.

That is very interesting, thanks for the update. So we are officially blaming comcast for these issues then, that makes me feel better.

@Derelict I am certain I have come across some sort of bug in pfsense that when IPv6 is enabled, IPv4 performance decreases by about 2mb/s both up and down.

I have done lots of testing tonight and Telstra's router does not suffer this issue, only pfsense.

The moment I turn off IPv6, I get my full speeds back. The moment I turn on IPv6, I lose 2mb/s down and up on IPv4. I cannot replicate that on Telstra's router. I maintain full speeds on IPv4 with IPv6 enabled on Telstra's router.

What additional information would you need to help isolate what this bug would be?

You can track the Snort issue here: https://redmine.pfsense.org/issues/11466. This one may take several days to figure out and clear up.
